MAD Academy

MAD Academy is an educational institution that equips students from the global hospitality community with the knowledge, tools and inspiration to effect positive change in their professional lives and in the world.

Launched in 2019, the Academy is part of the MAD Foundation, which was founded in 2011 by René Redzepi, chef and owner of restaurant noma in Copenhagen.

From our campus in Copenhagen, Denmark, MAD Academy trains rising leaders. With a focus on environmentally sustainable practices or approaches to effective leadership and management, our courses are designed to give hospitality professionals—both employees and owners—the practical tools, expertise, and inspiration they need to generate positive change in their workplaces, communities, and the world at large.

The activities of MAD Academy are made possible by tuition fees, government grants, and donations from organizations and private individuals.
